Talk about what feels fair and what feels unfair - if your brother or sister gets more sweets than you do etc

Was the man in the story unfair to pay everyone the same?  No he was super kind to the people who had only done a little bit of work.   Tell the kids that its the same way with believing in Jesus.  Some people have believed in Him for all their lives and some people only start to believe in him when they are very old and they are near to death.  But that doesnt matter to God, He is just super happy when people believe in Him and He promises that we can go to heaven even if we have only believed for a little bit of time.

Make a watch to remind us of the story - that God loves us all the time and that He treats us all the same if we have loved Him for a short time or a long time.

April 26th Good Shepherd

 ) talk time -  what did we do this week 2)   Before EASTER we were learning about Jesus.  We learned that He came as a baby,  He had a family and He went to school and grew up just like we do.  We learned that Jesus came to show us what God is like.  As a grown up Jesus did lots of wonderful things.  He looked after people and was kind.  He made sick people better and even made dead people come alive again.   Today we are going to look at one of the things Jesus said.  He said some very interesting things which are important. April 19th Light of the world

  Talk time   Does anyone know what our senses are?  We have five of them.  They are things our bodies can do which are really amazing.  Our senses are sight, smell, touch, hearing and taste.  Show me what you use to see.  What do we use to hear with?  What do we use to smell with?  What do you use to feel things with ( they will say hands but point out that we can feel with all areas of our bodies)   What do we use to taste things with?  Isnt it wonderful that God has made us with ears and eyes and noses and mouths so that we can experience things in the world around us.  Lets pray and thank Him for our bodies and pray for anyone who isnt feeling well.   Pray.
